What hours are expected per week? Volunteers usually commit to 2-3 days once every 5-6 weeks, so they are working alongside a specific apprentice group. A normal week will vary depending on the needs of the team and the content they are covering – this information will be available in advance. This role requires a more flexible approach depending on the onsite provision for apprentices on block release and end point assessments. Days and hours are negotiable. Travel expenses paid up to £11 per day.
What sort of skills/experience/likes/interests will help with this role?
Interest in and knowledge of education is desirable but not essential. Ideally, you will have a background in vehicle maintenance and/or restoration with a proactive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a busy team.
